Man stole car keys and debit card from pub in Offaly
A defendant from Kilcormac pleaded guilty to stealing a number of items, including car keys and a debit card, from a pub in Clara during the recent sitting of Tullamore District Court.
Nicholas Rizos, 11 Frankford, Kilcormac committed the offences on the 28th of December last in Dolan's Licensed Premises, The Square, Clara. He was also charged with trespassing in the pub and stealing €10.
He was charged as well with being intoxicated in public, failing to provide a name and address, and threatening behaviour in Raheen, Clara on the same date.
The defending solicitor Aisling Maloney told the court that her client is 34 years of age and is presently unemployed.
Judge Andrew Cody ordered that if Mr Rizos pays €2,000 to Cuan Mhuire then he will receive the Probation Act. The defendant agreed to do this.
