Promises of soft and sustainable sleeping have entranced punters at the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, outside Tullamore.

The promise is from Offaly family firm, Dooley's Wool – from Ballyduff, Roscrea – whose products use wool sourced only from local Irish farmers.

Brothers Kevin and Ray Dooley were kept on their toes throughout the three days at the Ploughing such was the interest in their products.

"We've been very busy . . . there's great football in here," Ray told the Tribune on Thursday.

Meanwhile – when the Tribune visited – his brother, Kevin was busy dealing with customers from Roscommon and Galway and chatting to suppliers John and Marese Bell, from neighbouring county Westmeath.
