A public screening of a film about a famous Tipperary man is planned later this month to raise funds for Bernie's SuperValu in Roscrea.

Everyone is invited to the public screening of a film to raise funds for Bernie's SuperValu, the much loved local supermarket which was badly damaged by a devastating fire in November.

The film will be shown in Roscrea Rugby Club (Streamstown Arts Centre) at 8pm on Monday, January 26.

The film is 'Down Memory Lane' starring Mabel Wallace, which was directed by Nicholas Ryan-Purcell, and is a fascinating insight into life in North Tipperary many years ago.
