Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal
It is the time of year again when our thoughts turn to the Shoebox appeal - always very well supported by the generous people of Roscrea and surrounding areas.
This is a Team Hope project whereby shoeboxes are filled with gifts which are then delivered straight into the hands of children affected by poverty in Eastern Europe or Africa for Christmas.
Items suitable for the boxes include writing material, pencils, crayons, small toys, small items of clothing, toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap etc.
A sum of €5 is required for each box which covers transportation, distribution, etc.
