Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal
The annual project whereby shoeboxes are filled with treats and forwarded to needy children in Africa and Eastern Europe for Christmas is in progress again this year.
Items suitable for the shoeboxes include toys, small items of clothing, writing material, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, sweets (not chocolates) etc. Gifts need not be new but must be in perfect condition.
The feedback from the children receiving the shoeboxes is overwhelming and it makes such a difference to them to be remembered at least once a year.
A contribution of €5 per shoebox is required to be sent per box to Team Hope for transportation and administrative costs.
