A woman who crashed into another vehicle after she became distracted appeared on a summons of dangerous driving at Tullamore District Court last week.

Stephanie Conlon (39) 49, Edgeworth Court, Longwood, Meath, was driving at Blueball, Tullamore, on August 10, 2019 when she crashed into another vehicle which had indicated to turn right into a filling station.

The court heard the defendant had become distracted with her children and crashed.

She works as a waitress and has twin boys. She had no previous convictions.

Judge Alec Gabbett fined Ms Conlon €200 and said he wouldn’t disqualify her under the circumstances.
