Delivery driver injured in alleged stabbing in Offaly
Gardaí have arrested two male juveniles following an alleged stabbing in Offaly on Sunday night, March 20.
It’s believed the victim was a delivery driver.
Gardai said the assault occurred in the Mucklagh area just outside Tullamore.
Gardai said: “The incident occurred at approximately 9.10pm when a man, aged in his 60s, received an apparent stab wound.”
“He was later taken to Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore where he is continuing to receive treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.”
The two male juveniles are currently detained at Tullamore Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Investigations are ongoing.
