According to Met Éireann, Saturday will bring a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy or thundery. They will gradually die out through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty west to southwest winds, decreasing light to moderate later.

Saturday night will start off mostly dry with clear spells. Cloud will increase from the west and rain will develop in the southwest overnight. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light winds becoming southeasterly overnight and freshening, increasing very blustery with the rain.

On Sunday morning, rain will spread northeastwards to all areas along with fresh southeasterly winds. It will be heavy at times and will clear northeastwards in the afternoon with sunshine and showers following, some heavy. Winds will become moderate to fresh southwesterly as rain clears. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees.

Showers will continue through Sunday night, especially in the west and north. It will be windy too with strong and gusty southwest winds.

Monday will be cool and windy with heavy showers or longer spells of rain. Some spot flooding is possible in the northwest. Some bright or sunny intervals also. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with fresh, gusty westerly winds, strong over Ulster with gales possible near the north coast.
