Spectacular 10km 'Knight Run' coming to Offaly

A spectacular night-time run at through the glorious Slieve Bloom mountains is attracting attention from avid runners as the unique 'Knight Run' in Kinnitty edges closer.

The Knight Run's 10km trail will see runners start at the famous 4-star Kinnitty Castle Hotel before ascending up a stunning moonlit course through the Slieve Bloom Mountains.

Competitors will traverse the course wearing head torches to the top valley of the Blooms where they will then travel down a fully waymarked route back to Kinnitty Castle.

Event Registration fee is €25 and includes:

- Mobile floodlights on the mountain
- Race Numbers
- Race Gantry
- Timing Clock at Start/Finish Point
- Glow sticks for all competitors
- Marshalls throughout the course
- DJ at the start & finish line
- Light refreshments at the end of race
