The survey seeks to measure how safe people feel in the communities throughout the county and identify the issues that concern them most

Offaly Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP) is currently undertaking a public survey to gather the views and experiences of people living and working in Offaly in relation to community safety.

They recognise that community safety may mean something different to everyone. For some it is about walking home at night, for others it’s about knowing their children can play safely outside or it may simply be having confidence that help is available if and when needed.

The survey seeks to measure how safe people feel in the communities throughout the county and identify the issues that concern them most and what they believe would make Offaly an even safer more inclusive place to live, work and visit.

Every response matters, and the feedback gathered will play an important role in shaping Offaly’s Community Safety Plan, ensuring it is informed by the experiences, priorities and ideas of the people who know their communities best.

Please see attach details of public consultation events being held over the coming weeks to facilitate those who wish to complete the survey in paper format or wish to discuss safety concerns they might have.
