Offaly County Council has granted planning permission to the Daingean Community Childcare Service Company for an extension at their existing facility in the town.
The facility, located at St. Mary's Road in Daingean, has now got the go-ahead to construct a single-storey rear extension to the existing childcare centre.
Permission for the extension was sought to facilitate a new after-school facility.
The planning approval is subject to a number of conditions.
