Man prosecuted at Tullamore District Court
A BOOK of evidence will be prepared in the case of a man accused of committing multiple offences on the same date in Daingean.
Simon Donagher (38), Bishops Wood Road, Portarlington appeared before Tullamore District Court in relation to a number of charges and summonses.
Mr Donagher was represented in court by Brian Duffy, solicitor and Sergeant Brendan Kearns, court presenter, applied for an adjournment of the prosecution to March 4 next for service of a book of evidence.
The man is charged with a number of alleged offences on April 3, 2025 including dangerous driving at Cavemount, Main Street, Killeen Bridge and Killoneen, Daingean; assaulting a person at Killeen Bridge, Daingean; failing to report an occurrence of injury to a person at Main Street; damaging a dwelling at Main Street and failing to offer a person assistance at Main Street to escape civil or criminal liability.
Summonses allege Mr Donagher was driving without insurance and driving under the influence of an intoxicant.
Judge Susan Fay remanded the man on continuing bail to appear in court again on March 4 next for the book of evidence.
