IN PICTURES: The spectacular photos that won Tullamore Camera Club's monthly competition

The camera club are also currently running an exhibition in the Bridge Centre in Tullamore

The Tullamore Camera Club have announced the latest winners of their monthly competition for September and October with some stunning photos on show. 

The theme for the September edition of the competition was 'Animals and Pets' and the winners were as follows:

First place: Phil Brady, Field mouse with nut at Midland Photography Hides, Ballyfin.

Second place: Kieran McEvoy, Pine Marten at Midland Photography Hides, Ballyfin.

Judge's Choice (Darren Kennedy, Birr): Kieran McEvoy, Fox at Midland Photography Hides, Ballyfin.

Photographers were tasked with an "Open" theme for the month of October which produced some magnificent shots. The winners were: 

First place: Kieran McEvoy, Monicknew, Co. Laois.

Second place: Nuala Lynch, Donkey.

Judge's Choice (Dominic Reddin, Mountmellick): Bridie Roe "Samuel Beckett Bridge, Dublin. 

The next meeting of the the Tullamore Camera Club will take place on Thursday, November 27 in Offaly history Premises at 8pm. New members are welcome with no experience required to attend. 

The camera club are also currently running an exhibition in the Bridge Centre in Tullamore, they are encouraging everyone to come in and have a look at what's on display.
