Free mattress collection days at three sites in Offaly
A series off free mattress collection days will take place in Offaly in the coming weeks.
Offaly County Council in partnership with Cirtex and Oxigen, will hold free mattress collection events in Birr, Edenderry and Tullamore.
It is a chance for people to upcycle old mattresses that they need to get rid off.
A collection day takes place on Saturday, September 6 at Birr Civic Amenity Site (R42 AD82) from 10am - 2pm
A collection day takes place on Saturday, September 13 at Edenderry Civic Amenity Site (R45 FR63) from 10am - 2pm
A collection day takes place on Saturday, September 20 at Derryclure Civic Amenity Site, Tullamore (R35 FT53) from 10am - 2pm
There is a limit of four mattresses per household. No commercial users are allowed and there is no scavenging
