The case was heard at last week's sitting of Tullamore District Court
A Tullamore man was convicted of damaging CCTV on a bed and breakfast during last week's sitting of Tullamore District Court.
Before the Court was Livio Fusciardi, Daingean Road, Tullamore and he committed the offence on May 8, 2024 at Brookville B&B, Rahan Road Tullamore.
Mr Fusciardi pleaded guilty to the offence. Sergeant Brendan Kearns said the damage caused was €300.
Judge Andrew Cody asked the defending solicitor Brian Duffy why was his client at the B&B? “He doesn't remember the incident,” replied Mr Duffy. “He doesn't seem to have any recollection of it. He hasn't come to the Guards' attention since this incident.”
The Judge adjourned the matter to September 10 next for a Probation Report.
