Gardaí issue appeal after house ransacked during burglary in the Midlands

Gardai in are appealing for information following a burglary in the Midlands on Monday.

They said a house was burgled at Farnans, Wolfhill, Arles in Laois was burgled between 4pm and 7.30pm on Monday, October 21. 

Gardaí said a householder arrived home and found the house had been ransacked. 

The burglars gained access to the house by breaking a bedroom window. A quantity of jewellery was stolen during the burglary.

GardaÍ are appealing to anyone who has information or who witnessed anything suspicious or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time to contact them at Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 867 4100.
