Gardaí in Laois seized a vehicle on Wednesday morning, September 19 which they say had a tank full of green diesel.
The vehicle was stopped in Portlaoise and after Customs carried out an inspection Gardaí made the seizure.
"We had Customs inspect this vehicle and its tank was full of green diesel....
"Laois Road's Policing unit stopped this van in Portlaoise yesterday alerting for no tax which expired five years ago. The vehicle was seized and court appearance to follow," said Gardaí.
