Tributes pour in following death of 'absolute gentleman' from Offaly

John Mulraney passed away on Tuesday

Tributes have poured in following the sad passing of beloved man John Mulraney from Ballygibbon, Edenderry, Offaly, who passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh, on Tuesday, May 14.

John is predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, his sisters Teresa and Mary and his brother Liam.

He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family: wife Anne, children Frances, Patricia, Joseph and John Jnr., brothers Seamus and Paddy, sisters Josie, Lily, Phyllis, Vera, Christina and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and remembered John, with one mourner writing,

"I am truly sad to hear about John. He was such a nice decent man. Thinking of Anne, Frances, Patricia, John and Joe and all the family at this time."

Another wrote,

"Thinking of all Johns family and friends at this difficult time. John was an absolute gentleman, may he RIP."

While another wrote,

"Very sorry to hear of John's passing, absolute gentleman, deepest sympathy to his family."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at his home (Eircode R45 YE16) this Thursday from 3pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. John's Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 11am in St. Brigid's Church, Clogherinkoe followed by burial in Broadford cemetery.
