Young man with strong Offaly connections receives major award from prestigious university

Student is grandson of well known Tullamore couple - Maureen and Ed Cunningham, Daingean Road

A young man with strong Offaly connections has received a prestigious award from Trinity College Dublin.

Éanna Naughton, from Galway, who is the grandson of Maureen and Ed Cunningham, Daingean Road, Tullamore, was recently presented with an Entrance Award at Trinity College Dublin.

The award was in recognition of his outstanding Leaving Certificate results in 2023.

Éanna went to the all-Irish Coláiste na Coiribe in county Galway.

He achieved the maximum 625 points and is now studying Dental Science in TCD.
