Gardaí are investigating a raid at a pub in north Longford
Gardaí are on the hunt for thieves who broke into a pub in the Midlands and who caused a 'large amount' of criminal damage.
The incident took place during the early hours of last Friday morning in Longford and resulted in a cache of property also being stolen.
In a statement, a garda spokesperson confirmed investigations are underway.
"Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred at a business premises (in) Co Longford in the early hours of the morning of Friday 14th July, 2023 at approximately 2.30a.m.
"A large amount of criminal damages took place and a quantity of property was also removed from the premises.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
