Katelynn Kelly - Sponsored by Kafe U, Clara

My name is Katelynn Kelly, 21 from Ballycumber. From a family of eleven brothers, four sisters and my parents who all sing and play instruments.I work full time in a coffee shop called Kafe U in Clara.

When I'm not behind the coffee machine I'm gigging in a well known Irish band called The Jiggers Of Eireann. We've shared the stage with amazing bands such as All Folk'd Up, The Tumbling Paddies and The Druids. Our band is a family band with my brother on Accordion,my partner Jordan on guitar and myself on banjo and fiddle.

Interestingly, in my younger years I represented my school in the children's national choir. In fact my mother and 11 siblings sang in two church choirs with me for years. From studying sound Engineering at Athlone University to working at concerts in the 3Arena with ShowInc Ireland you can tell im very passionate about music.
