PICTURES: Ballyskenach Drama Group support local charities

The annual Ballyskenach Drama Group presentation evening took place on March 24 last in Biddy's Bar (O'Rourkes) in Roscrea.

The group were delighted to award proceeds from their annual production to local charities.

“First of all, a sincere thank you to everyone that made it possible to stage 'Stop it Nurse' by Sam Cree a few weeks back”, the group said this week.

“Thank you to all our sponsors, all our committed cast members and volunteers, the Citeaux Hall Committee for all their support, the CommuniTy games group for their nightly performances and of course the audiences that attended each night.

“Without any of these the production would simply not have been possible. A most sincere thank you to anyone who helped us in any way”, the group said.
