Number of motorists caught speeding during focused operation by gardai in Offaly
A number of motorists were caught speeding during a focused operation by gardai in Offaly on Monday.
Gardai say they conducted the operation in Ferbane after concerns were raised by local residents.
A number of fixed charge notices consisting of a €160 fine and three penalty points were issued to drivers.
Notable high speeds were detected including 81kph in a 50kph zone and 91kph in a 60 kph zone.
