A TALENTED young Esker Hills Golf Club member competed very well in a big event at Lough Erne Golf Club in Fermanagh.

Competing in their annual Champion of Champions Junior World Golf Championship, Sophie Duffy finished fourth overall. 12 years of age and playing off a handicap of 13, Sophie played some very good golf and only four shots separated fourth from second.
It was a three day event with Sophie moving up two places on the final day to finish second – she had to qualify to compete in it.
