Offaly GAA in hunt for new secretary

THE Offaly GAA County Board will have to appoint a new secretary at their Convention on December 10.

Shamrocks club man Brendan Minnock told clubs at the October County Board meeting that he is stepping down. A former board PRO and Planning Officer, he is opting out after just one year, having replaced Edenderry's Colm Cummins last December.

Chairman Tom Parlon thanked Minnock for his work over several years. The closing date for nominations is November 11.
