GROUP 1 - COOLDERRY

Senior: Manager – Brian Carroll;

Selectors – Des Teehan, Niall Kirwan, Coach - Alan Tynan S&C – James Masterson;

Captain – Eoghan Parlon;

Absentees, long term injuries, retirements from last year – Billy Burke;

New players – None;

Star player – Kevin Connolly;

Key players – David King, Eoghan Parlon, Daniel Miller;

Last year – Lost to Kilcormac-Killoughey in semi-finals;

Prospects – Coolderry are masters at extracting every ounce out what they have. With Brian Carroll's senior hurling career over – he is now the manager -, they are in a rebuilding phrase but they command complete respect. They surprised Shinrone in the quarter-finals last year and no team will be taking them for granted. At the moment, however, they are championship outsiders and getting out of the group is their first target.
