PLAYER RATINGS: How the Offaly footballers rated in their tough loss to Meath

15 – Shane Tierney - Shane Tierney had a very good first half, showing well for the ball and kicking two points. Like many of his forward colleagues, the second half was a struggle as he didn't get on much ball and he was involved in an early goal chance that could have been a game changer – Tierney may have done the right thing by trying to fist the ball across goal to Jordan Hayes but he could also have taken it on himself while he just didn't get enough meat on the pass. The Daingean man has still had an excellent year to date and was a sort of unsung hero in the league campaign. Rating – 6
