12 – Keith O'Neill -Keith O'Neill made a sensational start to the game, getting five points, two of them from two pointers, almost in the blink of an eye. Meath couldn't live with him in the first half and he was brilliant. In the second half, however, they really tightened up on him and the Clonbullogue flier just couldn't get into the game or away from his man. He missed a crucial early chance as well and while it was the wrong side for a left footed kicker, he had players running off his shoulder – it is often easier to spot those things in the stand than in the heat of action and O'Neill will also learn a lot from this- Rating – 7.
