Tullamore to host Midlands Engineering Network Event

The Tullamore Court Hotel will host an exciting networking event with focus on Innovation Management on December 4 from 2-5pm.

The event combines networking, leading thoughts on innovation practice in various contexts, practical case studies from successful companies and examples of innovation support available to SMEs and emerging companies.

The content of the event has been optimised for engineering and manufacturing SMEs in particular, with the networking element including other interested parties and stakeholder organisations: industry, business support organisation, researchers and research institutions, chambers of commerce and others.

The event features a number of high profile speakers and industry experts, including Dr Hugh Henry – Director of Innovation at Bord Na Mona, Ron Immink – a thought leader on Innovation, Damien Costello an innovation industry expert, Paul Killeen from the NSAI and Gerard O’Regan from the European Enterprise Network.

This Midlands Engineering Network event is organised by WestBIC on behalf of Local Enterprise Offices in Westmeath, Longford, Laois and Offaly. The Network and the events from part of the Engenuity Programme, which is an integral part of effort to promote market-led innovation, stakeholder collaboration, best practice transfer and product and trade development among the Midlands Engineering Cluster.

The project is part of the Regional Action Plan for Jobs and is funded under the LEO Competitive Fund which is managed by Enterprise Ireland.
