PICTURES: Colaiste Naomh Cormac recently went back to the 80s for first ever musical

The recent musical ‘Back to the 80s!’ was an historic occasion for Colaiste Naomh Cormac as the Transition Year students of 2016/17 performed the school’s first ever Musical. The two night sell out show was the culmination of a huge amount of work by the staff, pupils, parents and Board of Management of the Kilcormac school.

Speaking about the success of the show, Principal Mr Brian Kehoe said: "I would like to congratulate Ms Browne, Ms Meagher and the cast and crew. Being part of a musical is a life enhancing opportunity, and in many ways it encapsulates the spirit and philosophy of what our re-invigorated Transition Year Programme is all about."

"The experience has empowered our students to have a greater faith in themselves and to believe that they can achieve anything they set their minds to and I’m sure that the memories and friendships will endure long after the final curtain has fallen," he added.
