Impressive Offaly house renovation to feature on popular RTÉ show

A house renovation in Offaly will feature on RTÉ show Cheap Irish Homes on Tuesday evening, September 1.
Bramble House on Church Street in Clara was renovated by Paddy Bracken and his dad.
Revealing the news on social media, Paddy said: “From buying Bramble House in July 2024 at just the age of 22 years old and buying it myself - Me and my dad taking on the renovation which took just a year and sharing the whole journey with you here , to now being picked to go on RTÉ television to show off my beautiful home and my story, is honestly the most unbelievable feeling in the world.
“What started with a conversation on this account with Tommy from the production team on the 28th September 2025 has turned into something I honestly could never imagine,” he added.
The producer came to visit Paddy at Bramble House in February.
“The 19th of June 2026 was the most special day throughout this process when the Cheap Irish Homes crew came for a day of recording at Bramble House and the secret got even harder to keep,” Paddy said.
“It’s been the most amazing journey, with months of planning , phone calls , filming and trying not to spoil the secret,” he added.
“The second the Cheap Irish Homes camera crew walked in my front door was the second every bit of hard work over the renovation process was so worth it,” Paddy said.
He said he “can’t wait for you all to see Bramble House on the television” and urged everyone to share his social media post and spread the word.
“Thanks again for all the continuous support on this account and loved getting to know so many of lovely people in the same situation,” he wrote on Facebook.
Cheap Irish Homes will broadcast on RTÉ at 7pm, and will also be available to view on the RTÉ Player.
This is the 6th series of the popular series which is presented by Maggie Molloy and Tadhg Casey.
