An opportunity for a chat and a hike to Brittas Lake in the Slieve Bloom mountains
Roscrea Trail Blazers are headed for the Slieve Blooms this week and you are invited to jojn the hike.
With the clocks changing last weekend Roscrea Trail Blazers have lost the last bit of evening light they had for walking, so, it's head torches for the foreseeable future.
The walk last Friday night was the Devil's Bit Loop outside Templemore.
It was cold and breezy on top but they were treated to smashing views across Tipperary and the Midlands. Well done to everyone that made the effort.
This Friday night’s walk (October 30th) is the Brittas Lake Loop at Clonaslee in the Slieve Bloom mountains.
A fantastic forestry walk and one not to be missed. Distance: 6.5km, Grade: Easy/Moderate, Time: 1.5 hours. Meeting at the Brittas Lake Trailhead Carpark at 7pm. Please bring head/hand torch.
