Absolutely torrential rain is affecting parts of Ireland today causing spot flooding as thunderstorms sweep across the country.
Our video shows one such downpour accompanied by thunder and lightning that quickly caused flooding.
A Status Yellow Rain and Thunderstorm Warning from Met Eireann is in place for Leinster, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Connacht, Tipperary, Waterford until 9pm this evening.
