13 – Dylan Hyland - Dylan Hyland wasn't spectacular in the first half but went very nicely and was involved in a lot of Offaly's best moves. He didn't get on much ball in the second half and the timing of some of his runs to field high ball was just a fraction off. Rating – 6

14 – Jack Bryant -Jack Bryant had flashes of excellence in the first half and laid off the ball very well in addition to kicking a nice point. Even when he struggled to get on the ball in the second half, he continued to try and do the right thing. Rating – 6

15 – Shane Tierney - Shane Tierney had a very good first half, showing well for the ball and kicking two points. Like many of his forward colleagues, the second half was a struggle as he didn't get on much ball and he was involved in an early goal chance that could have been a game changer – Tierney may have done the right thing by trying to fist the ball across goal to Jordan Hayes but he could also have taken it on himself while he just didn't get enough meat on the pass. The Daingean man has still had an excellent year to date and was a sort of unsung hero in the league campaign. Rating – 6

Subs: Aaron LeavyAaron Leavy came on for Aidan Bracken in the 62nd minute and worked hard to try and stop Meath runs forward. Rating – 6.Eoin Sawyer: Eoin Sawyer was a surprise introduction in the 63rd minute and by that stage, the game was slipping away from Offaly with very little ball getting into the full forward line. Sawyer, a Dublin man with a Clara forward, was just back from injury and was hungry for the ball but struggled to get away from his man when he did get on it. Rating – 6.David Dempsey: David Dempsey made his return to action after along injury lay off in the 64th minute and was solid as he made his physical presence count and found his man with the ball. Rating – 7.
