The Rod Stewart Songbook was the latest act to entertain the crowds at the Live at the Marquee series at JJ Killeens in Shannonbridge on Sunday July 5.
Singer Peter McCall brought this much sought after tribute act to the Offaly Shannonside venue, ensuring fans of the legendary Scotsman enjoyed a night of classics spanning Stewart’s six-decade career — from soulful ballads to swaggering rock anthems.
It was a full band show and leader McCall certainly nailed Stewart's unique style, guaranteeing all who made it to the marquee went home happy.
JJ Killeens has built a reputation for marquee shows that blend big-stage atmosphere with local hospitality, and the Rod Stewart Songbook was just one of the summer highlights.
