Offaly Stage School Youth choir sweep boards at major music festival

Tullamore Stage School Youth Choir swept the boards at the Arklow Music Festival last weekend, winning first prize in both the Unison and Two Part categories.

Under the direction of Regina McCarthy and accompanied by Loreta Mackelaite, the choir gave an outstanding performance of four different choral arrangements.

Adjudicator Judith Lyons described the performance as sheer excellence and professional from start to finish.

This young ensemble are now looking forward to participating in Feis Ceoil RDS next week. Well done to all!
