The late Jim O'Meara
THE READY organisation, members and friends have expressed their sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Jim O’Meara late of Killurin, Killeigh, County Offaly.
They described Jim as ''a gentle soul who often graced our social evenings in the company of his long time friend Mary Baron who travelled ahead of him to prepare a place in the light of heaven.
A quiet gentleman who enjoyed the company of social gatherings, and the lovely meals provided by Tullamore Town House and Maunsells over the years.
READY has many lovely memories of spending time with Mary and Jim, both of whom loved the music and the chatting with friends on our many evenings out.
A country man at heart, Jim would often speak of his life working with Bord Na Mona, and all of the good friends he made on the job.
Jim peacefully ascended in the loving care of Esker Ri Nursing Home Clara. READY members would like to express their sincere condolences to Jim’s family and to all who loved him. May he fly high with angels and be embraced by light.''
Deeply regretted by his brothers Donie, Tom, Pat, Kevin and his sister Nuala, sisters-in-law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
