Offaly's Sorcha wins big in Offaly community lotto

Congratulations is extended to Sorcha Shaughnessy, the winner of the Ballinagar Community Lotto, who is pictured above collecting her cheque.

Road Works

 Work has commenced on the green to allow transport of the Cloncreen Turbines. These will remain in place for the next six months at least. They will be doing a trial run in February with the turbines starting to come through at the end of February.

 Ballinagar Community Lotto

The lotto continues every Monday night draw takes place at 9 0 clock in the hall tickets available from usual outlets. It the coming weeks we are hoping to go on line to make it easier to get your tickets.

 Ballinagar GAA Bingo

Congratulations to all the winners last week. Our Bingo just got bigger over €5000 up for grabs 27 chances to win. The Bingo is on every Wednesday night at 8 o’clock books can be bought online through Klubfunder the link can be found on their Facebook page Ballinagar Gaa.If you haven’t got a printer no problem Pre-printed books are available in Day To Day Ballinagar Shop from every Friday evening or off Rosemary 086-3646936. €10 single book €16 double book So go out and get your books for a chance to win from the comfort of your armchair beside the fire. 9 games lasts about 75 minutes. Our anniversary bingo is coming up shortly. I will have more news next week and it will be our biggest bingo to date with increased money and a bigger jackpot. 

Ballinagar Social Club

Our operation transformation continues every Sunday morning at ten o'clock in the Gaa field there was a combined loss of 2 stone last week. We are halfway through so stick with it and it will all be worthwhile. We have walks on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30 in the Gaa field that is fully lit.

Now that restrictions are lifted we will be organizing other events shortly. Keep an eye out here.

Progressive 25

 Top Paddy Kinnarney Tommy Conroy. Second  John Broderick and Shock.. Table prize Joe Murry Paddy O Meara. This is the 2nd week in a row that 14 games won one more and they would have had the jackpot. Cards continue every Thursday night at 9 o'clock.
