Busy road in Tullamore has reopened after crash

CLONTARF Road in Tullamore is now fully open to traffic again after a closure this morning due to a single vehicle collision.

The road between the Lanello junction and Kilbeggan Bridge was closed after a car crashed close to the bridge before 6am on Friday.

Gardai said the driver had been taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore where he was being treated for non life threatening injuries.
