Ballyboy Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann will hold a registration evening on Friday

ENROLMENT for all Ballyboy Comhaltas music classes will take place at their official registration evening on Friday, August 29th, from 7pm to 9pm in Scoil Bhríde, Ballyboy.

They provide tuition in all traditional instruments including Accordion, Concertina, Melodeon, Banjo, Fiddle, Tin Whistle, Bodhrán, Guitar, Uilleann Pipes, Harp, Flute and Piano. Instruments may also be available for rent through their Instrument Bank. Further details are available on their website: www.ballyboycce.com.

Preparations are now underway for the new season of music classes and branch activities. The past year has been a hugely successful and enjoyable one, with many of their musicians qualifying to represent Ballyboy and Offaly at the Leinster Fleadh in Drogheda. An impressive total of 18 musicians went on to compete at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Wexford (August 8th–10th), achieving fantastic results — bringing home two All-Ireland gold medals and three silver medals to Ballyboy.
