There is a shortfall in numbers attending singing classes since the Covid pandemic
BALLYBOY CCÉ promotes music, singing, storytelling in the greater south Offaly area.
At the moment the Branch has become one of the most successful and progressive Comhaltas branches in Leinster.
They see a shortfall in numbers of people attending their singing classes since the return of regular classes after the pandemic.
Singing is enjoyable to learn and it comes naturally to most people. It’s a rewarding pastime and a great attribute for any child to have going forward in life.
Ballyboy CCÉ have always had a great interest and passion for singing and storytelling and we would love to give many young people the opportunity and ability to learn the art of performing in public and revel in being a part of our Comhaltas life of sessions, concerts and other activities.
Joining their classes is also an avenue for children to meet new friends, gain a lot of self-confidence and be part of a happy group enjoying and promoting our Irish culture and heritage.
The classes cater for ballad singing, contemporary styles, sean-nós singing and storytelling. Please visit the website www.ballyboycce.com for all information regarding the branch activities.
You can register for classes on the site in the membership section.
