Gary Madine fired a late winner as Hartlepool beat Yeovil 2-1 at home to extend their unbeaten National League run to six matches.
Former Sheffield Wednesday and Bolton striker Madine stepped off the bench to seal all three points for Pools in the 83rd minute in a game delayed by 12 minutes during the first half after a stadium safety concern due to high winds.
After a goalless first half, Emmanuel Dieseruvwe broke the deadlock for the home side from the penalty spot after Tom Parkes had been impeded in the box.
Both sides continued to create chances and Yeovil levelled it up with 10 minutes left through Kofi Shaw’s long-range effort, only for Madine, a 62nd-minute substitute, to turn home Anthony Mancini’s cross at the far post.
