Football rumours: Arsenal eye Mohammed Kudus to replace Leandro Trossard

What the papers say

Arsenal are eyeing West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus should they need to find a replacement for Leandro Trossard, according to the Mirror. The Gunners reportedly explored signing the Ghana winger before he joined the Hammers in August last year and he is back on their radar amid Saudi club Al-Ittihad’s interest in Belgian forward Trossard, the paper reports. It is rumoured a deal between the two London clubs could be worth up to £90million.

Reims forward Oumar Diakite could be the next target for Crystal Palace if talks stall with French striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, according to the Sun. The 20-year-old Ivory Coast international has attracted interest after a strong showing at the Olympics this summer.

English midfielder Lewis O’Brien could be making his £7million move to Los Angeles permanent when his loan from Nottingham Forest ends in January. The Sun says LAFC are expecting to make the move permanent, although the 26-year-old has also attracted interest from Leeds and Hull.
