Old Offaly farmhouse hosts event for National Heritage Week

Carrigeen farmhouse hosts evening of music, song, dancing and storytelling
Members of the Egan family, Pat (above second on right) flanked on either side by his niece Máire and nephew Phelim and joined by Andy Masterson, Ciara Bradley and Séan Loonam performing at their farmhouse in Carrigeen, Fivealley.
The Egan farmhouse is hugely popular for Heritage Week since it opened to the public around 2012.
Sunday evening’s session attracted a large crowd for a wonderful setting in the front garden around the water pump in the yard, and the lovely old farmhouse in the background with an evening of music, song, dancing and storytelling all washed down with tea and cakes.
The perfect setting for Heritage Week!
