Darts success for Offaly team in Limerick

Offaly Darts A Team wins prestigious inter county competition

OFFALY darts players travelled to the Longcourt House Hotel in Newcastle West Co. Limerick on Saturday the 12th of October 2024.

Two teams from the county travelled down, Offaly A and Offaly B, to contest in the Limerick inter county challenge 2024.

Both teams made it through the group stages throwing some fantastic darts all day, but it was Offaly A that upped the gears, after making it through the group stages they met a good Limerick A side, with a 7-6 win.

They then faced Waterford A in the semi-final winning 7-2 ,where the now found themselves heading into the final to meet a strong Mayo side.

Again the lads threw some exceptional legs of darts coming out on top to win the final with a fantastic 7-3 win and crowned Limerick inter county champions 2024.

Offaly A - The team consisted of Stephen Rosney, Ronan McDonagh, James Landy, Trevor English, Bodien Fogarty, Shane O Hara, Colm Ryan, Dwayne McEvoy, Pat Barrett, Niall Farrell, James Lynch, Keith O' Connor, Noah Molloy and Billy Fogarty.

Offaly B - The team consisted of John O Meara, Shane Dolan, Paddy Mcdonagh SNR, Brian Fletcher Jnr, Billy McCormack, Johnny Reilly, James Houlihan, Aaron Hutchinson, Terry Morrow, Mark Griffin, Dean Cahill, Darren Robinson, Darragh Reams, Mike Holland, Brian Fletcher Snr and Cian Darcy.
