Tullamore's Old Harbour Bar bringing craic and colour to Ploughing 2018

Tullamore's Old Harbour Bar bringing craic and colour to Ploughing 2018

The Wrafter family will be among the brilliant acts playing at The Old Harbour Bar as the beloved Tullamore pub brings its own brand of craic on the road to the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan.

It is a short road trip out to Screggan where the Old Harbour Bar will be set up on Catering Block 3. They have bands playing throughout each day at the Ploughing which takes place from September 18-20.

As well as The Wrafter Family, there will also be A1, Martin Goulding and Ed Kenny entertaining the revellers at the biggest outdoor event. The music will play until 6pm each day.

The Wrafter Family, husband Peter, wife Noreen, and their three children, Conor, Thomas, and Aimee, who hail from KilbegganinWestmeath, and can already look back on a year that has presented them with one highlight after another.

They’ve opened for Nathan Carter at the Moynalty Steam Threshing Festival, for TheHigh Kings, for Johnny McEvoy, and now they're heading for the Old Harbour stage at the Ploughing.

The Old Harbour tent will provide shelter from the rain that's expected with a drink and a bit of craic to warm up. If you need another bit of warming up, you can experience the real thing at the Old Harbour Bar on Harbour Street in Tullamore after the Ploughing.

Now, where are those wellies!
