Massive snowdrift completely blocking one Offaly road
This massive snow drift is completely blocking one Offaly road. It is roughly 6 feet high at its peak and is located on the road from Kilcormac to Rath.
A number of vehicles have gotten as far as this point on the road but have been forced to turn back after coming across this massive snow drift.
In front of one house, the drift reaches as high as 8 feet high.
Gardai are continuing to urge motorists to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
