Pictured are people from the local rural communities with local NPWS representatives and Gardaí
Farmers and rural communities in Offaly and North Tipperary are concerned about trespassers on their property and local Gardaí and a representative from the National Parks and Wildlife (NPWS) recently held a meeting to discuss those concerns.
A great turn-out by landowners from all across North Tipp and beyond to hear Dr Áine Lynch from National Parks and Wildlife Service and Sgt Ray Moloney on illegal hunting and trespassing on lands.
Communities represented included; Moyne/Templetuohy, Johnstown, Drom and Inch, Rathdowney, Moneygall, Crosspatrick, Loughmore Castleiney, Clonmore, Clonakenny, Shanakill, Gortagarry, Gortnahoe and Graffin.
Always ring 999 to report illegal hunting or suspicious activity on your land.
