Age Friendly Roscrea attended an event in Croke Park hosted by Adult Literacy for Life (Solas/ETB) which showcased Literacy Champions around the country.
Age friendly Roscrea in collaboration with Roscrea Youth Service produced a book with stories from young and older people living in Roscrea. Everyone was very proud of their contribution to the book, and it has proved to be a very popular read.
"We enjoyed the day meeting other groups from all over Ireland and seeing the promotion of literacy skills in practice.
