A stunning new facility which will offer the most modern digital workspace for people in North Tipperary and Offaly is anticipated to open soon.
The the new digital hub 'Roscrea Enterprise and Community Hub' (REACH) located adjacent to the Roscrea Town Centre complex is nearing completion and is already a striking new piece of modern architecture in the heart of the heritage town.
The hub will provide the most up to date office facilities in the country and will revolutionise the ability to work in the centre of Roscrea. The project is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund and Tipperary County Council.
The hub will provide office space for people to work in Roscrea, enabling employees to work remotely instead of commuting to larger urban centres. The facility will also have education and training elements.

The hub will have 45 work stations supporting up to 116 jobs, as well as 16 work studios (own-door offices) that will support a further 48-64 jobs. There will also be provision of shared services to all resident businesses.
The 11,450 sq ft commercial unit is located at the rear of Roscrea Shopping Centre and has been vacant since 2011 and will have best-in-class connectivity through a one-gigabit broadband connection.
It is understood that the hub will operate six days a week from 9am to 6pm, and on Sundays also if there is demand.

Tipperary Co Council granted planning permission for the development in July of 2019.
Expressions of interest to rent space can be made to Seamus Browne, Auctioneer Board member, and Brendan Hyland, Chairperson of REACH CLG.
The €3.5-million investment will transform the current vacant space into a vibrant Town Centre enterprise location bringing much-needed investment and opportunities to the town.
It is funded under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund through the Department of Community and Rural Development.

This significant funding provides for the development of a Digital Enterprise Hub in the centre of the town, which will act as a catalyst for new job creation and innovation.
It will provide a modern, high-quality facility, with space for education and training, enterprise and development, as well as spaces available for lease to start-ups, SMEs and others.
